KIOXIA Iwate Corporation
The 2023 entrance ceremony was held.
200 new graduates attended the ceremony, each of whom then made a fresh determination as a member of society. This year's new recruits, who are the 5th generation of fresh graduate employees, comprise 46 university graduates (including graduate schools), 12 technical college/vocational/junior college graduates, and 142 high school graduates. They joined the company from various places, and approximately 80% of them graduated from educational institutes located in Iwate Prefecture whereas the others graduated from those located outside Iwate Prefecture but mainly in the Tohoku region.

Congratulations to you all on joining our company. It is a great honor for KIOXIA, which places great importance on diversity, to have all of you with various backgrounds and specialties, and I would like to thank you for this opportunity.
Currently, our company produces the most advanced products in the group, so our equipment, devices, and processes in use are the most advanced in the world. From the launch of KIOXIA Iwate until it has got on track, Iwate Prefecture and Kitakami City have made tremendous efforts for us. We also have received understanding of the local residents and support from many partner companies. Please do not forget to keep this in mind.
From a medium- to long-range perspective, the flash memory market is expected to continue to grow steadily, so we are currently promoting employee development, production and operational improvements etc. in an active manner, and working hard on to become a leaner and even stronger company. After joining the company, I hope that you will continue to grow day by day and take on aggressive challenges.
